Delivery
Once payment is received we usually post your orders out by the same day - at busy periods it may take up to 72 hours to process the order.
If there will be an unusual delay there will be a note posted on the blog and the front page of the website - all known delays will be posted prior to the event.
Magpie Yarns cares about the environment, so we take care to use the minimum of materials - your invoices will be emailed, and all our packaging is 100% recyclable or degradable. Our brightly coloured mailing bags are degradamailers containing Biothene which breaks down to its harmless constitunents within 18 months.
We currently use the Royal Mail to deliver our parcels First Class, but if you would like your order to be shipped another way, just email us with your order and how you would like it delivered, and we will work out a quote.
Special Orders
We order new stock from Brown Sheep on monthly basis, and you are very welcome to request any Brown Sheep items that we don't carry day-to-day. Please email us with your request and we can work out the prices and give you an estimated delivery date.

Payment
Our preferred payment is via Paypal (you can still pay by the paypal system with a credit/debit card if you don't have a Paypal account), however you are also welcome to pay by check - but please be aware this will slow down the delivery of your order, as cheques are paid in on Mondays, and we wait until the money has cleared until sending the order.
About Us
We are a small mother(Val)-and-daughter(Elly) run company based in Leicestershire. We sell Brown Sheep yarns and our own knit and crochet kits. Val packs the orders and posts them, while Elly oversees the admin and designs.
Brown Sheep Lanaloft was chosen as our main yarn line because of the wide range in colour and single ply structure. We love Brown Sheep's ethical policies, and supporting another (albeit much larger!) family company.
